Artists' Bios

Nuno and Vanda (Portugal)

Nuno and Vanda began their career in 2004. They are the most recognized Portuguese couple on the International Salsa circuit. They have training in several areas of dance such as Salsa, Kizomba, Jazz Dance, Contemporary, Funk, Classical Dance, Argentine Tango, amongst others, which is reflected in its artistic creations and style of their dance.

They truly stand out, their musical interpretation and styling is very unique. They have their own individual style and compliment each other as they interact on the stage. We are delighted to have Nuno and Vanda back with us again. They are true professionals at their craft.

In their career as a couple they have represented Portugal around the world. In June 2004 Nuno and Vanda were considered ambassadors of Salsa of Lebanon.

Their work is very versatile and extends from classes, varied shows and animation events.In Portugal they have their own school called Jazzy Dance Studios.

 

Moe Flex (UK)

Moe Flex is one of the most exciting, inspiring and entertaining choreographers on the international Latin dance scene today!  With the biggest smile in salsa, his boundless enthusiasm for dance is impossible to ignore and he has gained his reputation through sheer determination and talent.  

As a leading authority in the field of dance, rhythm and body movement, Moe's unique style of teaching is now recognised Internationally and he takes his workshops and shows to congresses and events all over the world.

By adding his own personal touch to everything he does, Moe makes every dance experience a positive and memorable one and always leaves you wanting more.  He really is an inspiring and motivational role model for all performing artists and celebrities and has worked with the likes of Rolldeep, Tim Westwood, 50 cent, Blu Cantrell, Craig David, Guy Ritchie & Madonna.

 

Kizomba Abú

Frenchy and Sandra have grown up around music. Kizomba brought them together in 2011. Since then, combining Sandra's body movement and Frenchy’s musicality background, they have created a magical fusion around Kizomba. As dance partners, the are running their weekly classes and club in at the grand Social Bar in Dublin, Ireland, but they also appear in different national locations like the Salsa Bonanza festival in Cork, the Salsa School festival in Maynooth, and the Dublin Fever Bachata/Kizomba festival. They also appeared internationally in different congress like the Sexy Latin festival (UK), the Kizomba charity festival (Seville, Spain), The Afro festival Costa del Sol (Malaga, Spain), and the Afro-latina Sevilla Dance festival (Sevilla, Spain). They are the founders of Kizomba Abú (Irish for “Victory” or “Forever”) and their goal is to share their passion for Kizomba music and mainly, to have fun dancing.

 

Azael, Greta & Lucie

AZAEL SALAZAR is an energetic and charismatic dancer, who can combine in a dance speed and high energy with romance and sensuality. Thanks to his unique style he has become very popular around Europe in the last year, especially as a Bachata and Kizomba instructor. He begun his career in Monterrey Mexico where he won the Mamboss Salsa Open competition twice and trained under Salzumba, one of the most important dance companies in Mexico, former school of other great artists like Adolfo Indacochea. In 2012 he decided to continue with his project in Europe and he moved to Dublin Ireland where he was named the Irish Bachata Champion and he created his own company Bachata Fever.
